Designer of clothing set: Doc Wrangler. This designer
specializes in period clothing and accessories which may have been worn
in the late Victorian or Edwardian eras in the American West. The items
are available at the Swank Brothers store in Steelhead Harborside,
and elsewhere. I acquired a number of clothing sets: brown suit (above,
below left, and images 4 and 5), drab suit (below right, and images
10 and 11), Old West outfit (image 6), and a white shirt with six bow
tie/white collar combinations (image 8); plus in addition some separate
items: brown striped trousers (image 7), brown newsboy cap (images 7
and 8), Oxford brown and tan walking out shoes (above and image
9), a tan derby (image 5), and tan ducking pants (image 12). Ducking
is coarse hard-wearing cloth made of cotton or linen.
The brown suit jacket, waistcoat
and trousers are of made coarse, woollen cloth, cut simply. The waistcoat
may be seen in image 5. Supplied with the suit are a white shirt/purple
tie combination, and some golden-brown shoes. The shoes are not well-constructed
(see image 4) and I have substituted the Oxford shoes in the
main image above. These are truly excellent - quite the best shoes I
have. See image 9 for a close-up of the Oxford shoes.
The drab suit has jacket and trousers
in coarse grey wool (no waistcoat) and a collarless blue and white striped
shirt, and a grey cap. In the shots featuring this suit (below right
and images 10 and 11) I have added one of the bow tie/white collar combinations
already mentioned.
The Old West outfit contains a
bib-front blue shirt, brown trousers (the same ones in the brown suit
set), brown shoes, and a tan Boss hat (see image 6).
